WHY RADON MATTERS
The science
Radon is an invisible, odorless radioactive gas produced by the decay of uranium in soil and rock.
North Dakota and Minnesota are EPA Zone 1, indicating the highest potential for elevated radon levels.
Long‑term radon exposure is the leading cause of lung cancer among non‑smokers. Testing and standards‑driven mitigation are the only reliable ways to reduce that risk and protect your household.
