OUR SERVICES

Short and Long Term Radon

We provide official NRPP‑compliant radon testing, performed under the National Radon Proficiency Program and aligned with the EPA National Radon Action Plan.

These are the recognized standards for real‑estate transactions, mitigation decisions, and long‑term health protection.

Radon is invisible, odorless, and common in the region. National health agencies recommend testing every home because the only way to know your radon level is to measure it—there are no symptoms, warning signs, or shortcuts.

Our testing process is simple, accurate, and fully compliant— giving you confidence in every result. During your appointment, we set up the test and provide a free on‑site estimate for mitigation options.

We use RadStar Alpha Continuous Radon Monitors to collect high‑resolution, time‑stamped data for accurate short‑ and long‑term measurements.

If you would like a full written proposal and bid, we can perform an official diagnostic evaluation, including airflow assessment, system design, and baseline measurements.

This diagnostic supports our Lakeside Radon Services Guarantee, ensuring any future mitigation work is designed correctly from the start.

Short term testing
(48 hours - 7 days)

Ideal for real‑estate transactions and immediate radon assessment.

Long‑term testing
(90 days–12 months)

Provides a true annual average and supports long‑term health decisions and warranty validation.

OUR SERVICES

Free Estimates and Radon Safety Screening

If we’re already in your home setting up a radon test — or if you simply know you need a mitigation system — we can freely look at your home and provide a no‑cost estimate.

This includes a walkthrough of your layout, identifying likely radon entry points, and giving you clear recommendations based on what we see. We can also offer practical guidance to help protect you and your family from radon, including simple fixes you can do yourself.

For homeowners who want deeper information, we provide EPA, CDC, and U.S. Health and Human Services publications and recommendations so you can understand the risks and the proven methods for reducing them.

Our goal is to give you straightforward information, trusted resources, and actionable steps — whether you’re preparing for a mitigation system or just starting to learn about radon safety.

OUR SERVICES

Radon Mitigation

Lakeside Radon Services provides certified, standards‑driven radon mitigation designed for measurable performance, long‑term reliability, and full compliance with recognized industry standards.

Every system is engineered specifically for your home’s structure, soil conditions, and airflow patterns—never a one‑size‑fits‑all install. You receive a clear mitigation plan, clean workmanship, and documented results you can rely on.

Our installations include sealed sump covers, airtight slab penetrations, Schedule‑40 PVC, industry‑standard radon fans, and exterior discharge placement that balances safety, performance, and curb appeal. After installation, we complete a post‑mitigation radon test and provide digital documentation for your records or real‑estate needs.

Every system includes a 1‑year labor warranty covering installation quality, sealing, routing, and system assembly, with an optional second year available through our long‑term testing package.

Performance guarantees are offered only when an AARST‑standard diagnostic is completed prior to mitigation, with short‑term tests supporting a 30‑day guarantee and long‑term tests supporting a full 1‑year guarantee. Homeowners choose Lakeside Radon Services for certified expertise, veteran‑led safety discipline, transparent pricing, and professional results built to last.

OUR SERVICES

In‑Depth AARST Diagnostic & Proposal

In‑Depth AARST Diagnostic & Proposal

The In‑Depth AARST Diagnostic & Proposal is a standards‑driven service for homeowners, real estate professionals, and contractors who need a clear, defensible radon mitigation plan without committing to a full installation.

This nondestructive diagnostic follows ANSI/AARST protocols to evaluate sub‑slab communication, pressure zones, soil gas pathways, sump and drain tile behavior, crawlspace conditions, and the feasibility of suction points, routing, and fan sizing.

It delivers the same engineering logic used in full mitigation projects but at a lower cost, making it ideal for DIY homeowners, real estate transactions needing a legal estimate and proposal for closing, contractors requiring a compliant design for bid work, or even the well‑meaning in‑law who wants to “help” with the installation. You receive an AARST‑compliant diagnostic report, a detailed system design proposal, a materials list, and a performance expectation summary.

13-Month Warranty

If Lakeside performs the installation, the design integrates directly into your 13‑Month Warranty.

This service gives you the clarity, documentation, and confidence to move forward.

Whether you’re preparing for closing, comparing bids, planning a DIY project, or simply wanting a professional roadmap before installation.

OUR SERVICES

New Construction & Consulting

The New Construction & Consulting service provides builders, architects, and homeowners with expert radon planning before construction begins, following the ANSI/AARST CCAH (Reducing Radon in New Construction of 1–2 Family Dwellings and Townhouses) standard. This ensures the home is designed with proper slab preparation, soil gas management, pipe routing, and system rough‑in requirements so radon safety is built in from day one.

We review building plans, foundation types, mechanical layouts, and site conditions to create a clear, code‑aligned radon design your contractor can follow without guesswork. This service is ideal for custom home projects, builders needing compliant radon‑ready plans, or homeowners wanting to avoid costly post‑construction mitigation by doing it right the first time. You receive a standards‑based design proposal, material recommendations, and expert guidance that integrates seamlessly into the construction process, ensuring long‑term radon performance and peace of mind.
